CAIRO- 31 October 2017: Egyptian Mufti Shawky Allam on Tuesday said that Egypt is a country that has time-honored experience in peaceful coexistence among followers of different religions.

The remark was made in the preface of a book that was issued by the Ministry of Culture on relations between Muslims and Christians.

He added Prophet Mohamed and his companions were having strong social and economic relations with followers of other religions.

Such relations, he added, enhance stability of nations and help the spread of peace and security.
