Surprise visit to Cairo's Gamal Abdel Nasser metro station

CAIRO - 28 October 2017: Transportation Minister Hisham Arafat embarked on a surprise visit to Gamal Abdel Nasser metro station to inspect and follow up the establishment of the first part of the third phase of Cairo Metro Line 3.

During the tour, the minister urged the workers to finalize the project as scheduled, pointing out at the importance of establishing the project to streamline traffic.

Establishing the new underground metro line is expected to up the number of daily commuters to nine million.
