CAIRO – 26 October 2017: An international conference dubbed "Qatar, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the sponsorship of terrorism" kicked off Thursday evening in Paris..

The scenario of opposition against Qatar is in full swing. The said conference was mainly held to expose Qatari practises and support of terrorism and the dubious deals Doha has made to destabilize the Arab region.

Participants of the ongoing conference were heads of French counter terrorism societies, academic and political associations and institutions, writers and intellectuals.
Among the participants of the conference were politicians and writers of different nationalities: Michaël Parzan, author of the "The Truth Behind the Muslim Brotherhood"; John Micheal, the former head of Counter Terrorism Society in France; and the Syrian head of "Syria for All", Mohamed Ezzat Khatab.

The attendees unanimously agreed on the devastation the Qatari system is inflicting on many Arab and Islamic countries.

Strong reactions against Qatar have intensified both in the Arab region and internationally. Egyptians have rallied against Qatar in the vicinity of the United Nations in New York City. Protesters echoed Arab states’ demands for a regime change in Doha, the closure of Al Jazeera, and the extradition of Islamic radicals Qatar harbors.

The Paris conference is not the first to tackle the Qatari regime and system; earlier, at a conference organized by Chatham House in London, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al Jubeir called on Qatar to change its attitudes for the sake of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

“If we can change Qatari behavior, we will be stronger in the GCC, and we can confront Iran and terrorism. Qatar must first acknowledge it has a problem in order for them to solve it,”Al Jubeir said.
