French President Emmanuel Macron receives President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi at the Elysee Palace Tuesday Oct.24, 2017 - Reuters

PARIS, October 24 2017: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi discussed in a Tuesday meeting with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian the latest developments in the Middle East, notably the crises in Libya, Syria, Iraq and the fight against terrorism.

Also, the French top-diplomat has held a dinner banquet in honor of President Sisi and his accompanying delegation that comprised Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Egypt's Ambassador in Paris Ehab Badawi.

Earlier in the day, President Sisi has convened with the French foreign minister at Les Invalides.

Sisi is currently on a visit to Paris that started on Monday.
