20 killed, dozens injured in separate, fatal road accidents

CAIRO – 21 October 2017: At least 20 were killed and dozens injured on Saturday in two separate fatal road accidents in Giza governorate and Assuit-Red Sea desert road.

Four people were killed and 12 others sustained injures after a minibus and a taxi overturned from the top of Axis Road in Giza as a result of wreckless driving. In another incident, two heavy vehicles carrying goods collided with two loader truck vehicles on the Assuit-Red Sea Desert Road, killing at least 20 people and injuring six.
