BAGHDAD– 17 October 2017: Iraqi security sources said that the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on Tuesday extended control over all of Sinjar town in the northern province of Ninawa province, Sky News reported.

Clashes between the PMF and Kurdish Peshmerga fighters are still ongoing in the vicinity of the town, the sources added.

The clashes ensued in the town following the announcement of the results of Kirkuk security operation by the Iraqi forces on Monday.
