RAMALLAH - 13 October 2017: The Israeli forces closed the northern entrance of Al Quds, denying three buses access to the holy city.

The Israeli forces sealed off the checkpoint stationed near Beit Iksa village on both directions. Some of the village residents gathered at the checkpoint to push the forces to allow the movement of the three buses, a Palestinian local official said.

The source said the occupation forces deliberately harassed bus passengers, especially women, as the Israeli army increased their arbitrary measures against the village residents.

He called on the rights organizations and other bodies to intervene in order to alleviate the suffering of Beit Iksa locals.

Beit Iksa is the sole northern entrance of Al Quds which is surrounded by the Israeli West Bank barrier.
