Sisi opens projects in New El Alamein City by end of month

CAIRO – 12 October 2017: The Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will open projects in New El Alamein City by the end of this month, Minister of Housing and Urban Development Mustafa Madbouli announced on Thursday.

On the other hand, President Sisi discussed with Ahmed Abdeen on Saturday the implementation process in New El Alamein City, which will include a national university, comprising of a number of applied science faculties, an opera house, a library and a museum.

Madbouli pointed out that the employees’ district in the government district of the New Administrative Capital will be completed in conjunction with the completion of the establishment of the ministries and the designs will be started today; explaining that Arab and foreign investors are welcome to invest in the New Administrative Capital.

He added also in the press conference at the Cabinet of Egypt that “employees will not be transferred to the new administrative capital, as some believe, but will rely on young people armed with technology in the management of ministries in the New Administrative Capital, as the new system will be the priority of the e-government.”
