Shoukry to meet French counterpart in Paris

PARIS - 6 October 2017: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is expected to meet his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian on Friday.

The two top diplomats are expected to discuss bilateral relations and regional issues of mutual interest, the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs said.

Shoukry arrived in Paris on Thursday for talks with representatives of the member states of the UNESCO Executive Council on Egypt's candidate for the UNESCO chief, Moushira Khattab.
