MINYA, Egypt - 29 September 2017: A fire that broke out in a train locomotive in Minya has been put out, with no casualties reported, said an official in the governorate.

The train, traveling from Cairo to Luxor, caught fire outside a village in Beni Mazzar township, the municipality's head Ismail el-Fahham said.

Firefighters immediately rushed to the site of the train where they managed to extinguish the fire.

The reason behind the fire is still unknown.
