RAMALLAH - 29 September 2017: Israeli occupation forces on Friday suppressed a peaceful protest held by Palestinian citizens against Israel's decision to form a self-rule administration for the Israeli settlers in the Old City of Hebron.

Worshipers, Old Town's residents and activists opposing the settlement building participated in the protest called for by Fatah in the southern part of Hebron.

The Israeli forces attacked the protesters, forcing them out and reinforced their presence at Al Aqsa Mosque and its entrances.

Meantime, Israeli occupation forces suppressed another peaceful rally at Ni'lin village which condemned the Israeli settlement and the Israeli West Bank barrier, firing gas and sound bombs without any reports of detention.
