187 encroachments on state-owned lands removed in 3 governorates

CAIRO - 29 September 2017: Security forces continued their efforts to remove encroachments on state-owned lands and the Nile River upon directives from Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar.

The campaign, carried out in the governorates of Menoufia, Kafr el Sheikh and Qena, resulted in removing 187 encroachments.

Legal measures were taken in this respect and the prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
