AUC to launch first integrated education programs in Egypt

CAIRO - 28 September 2017: The American University in Cairo (AUC) was chosen by Massachusetts Institute of Technology to launch its first integrated education programs in Egypt, the university president said Thursday.

The integrated education programs will be launched in the domains of science, technology and engineering and will be financed by Al Ghurair Foundation for Education, said Francis J. Ricciardone at a ceremony organized by the UNESCO on the occasion of the International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI).

The AUC always seeks to acquire new technologies that ensure everyone's access to education and information, he added.

The AUC is not a profit-making entity but it is only interested in investing in minds and humans, he said.
