CAIRO – 26 September 2017: A presidential delegation will visit a number of newly established Egyptian-Japanese schools in Cairo and Suez as registration doors opened Tuesday, according to official sources at the Ministry of Education.

The presidential delegation was escorted by another delegation from the General Authority of Educational Buildings (GAEB).

The official source said in the statement that the GAEB delegation is meant to inspect the works at the schools and evaluate its readiness to receive students during the current school year, which kicked off Sunday.

On September12, Japan's Foreign Minister Tara Kono confirmed during a meeting with President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi that Japan is keen on enhancing partnership with Egypt in different fields, especially in the field of education, after the construction of schools that follow the Japanese model in Egypt.
