KHARTOUM – 26 September 2017: The first Saudi – Sudanese trade forum kicked off here Tuesday with the participation of 65 Saudi and Sudanese businessmen.

The forum is co-organized by the Federation of Sudanese Chambers of Commerce and the Saudi Export Development Authority.

The Sudanese ministers of trade, international cooperation and investment were present at the event, along with the Saudi ambassador in Khartoum and the head of Saudi Export Development Authority.

The economic gathering is a positive step toward boosting economic and trade relations between Saudi Arabia and Sudan, Sudanese National Chamber of Importers CEO Mohammed Abbas Gadallah told MENA correspondent.

He added that the forum includes working sessions to discuss aspects and mechanisms of cooperation, as well as means of removing obstacles facing the movement of goods between Saudi Arabia and Sudan.
