BAGHDAD – 23 September 2017: A Kurdish delegation representing the referendum council held Saturday a meeting with Iraqi President Fuad Masum.

The meeting took up the referendum on independence of Kurdistan from Iraq to be held on Monday.

The delegation arrived here on Saturday and the meeting took place in Masum's house, a well-informed source told Iraqi Media News Agency.

The source said also that the delegation will met Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al Abadi and other political figures.

The Kurdish delegation, which came from Erbil, comprises representatives of Kurdish parties, Turkmen and Christians
