CAIRO - 18 September 2017: Prime Minister Sherif Ismail stressed Monday that Egypt is keen on providing all forms of support to, Moshiera Khattab, the nominee of Egypt and Africa to the post of director general of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

He pointed out to her experience in political and diplomatic arenas, noting that she has a comprehensive vision on upgrading the performance of the UNESCO during the coming phase.

This came during the premier's meeting with Khattab at the cabinet headquarters.

During the meeting, Khattab hailed efforts exerted by the country with all its bodies to support her nomination to this post, lauding coordination and cooperation with the African Union (AU) in this regard, taking into consideration that she is the only nominee in Africa.
