Portable toilets to be installed near archeological sites

CAIRO – 17 September 2017: In preparation for the upcoming tourist season, Luxor municipal authorities will install five portable toilets in archeological sites, the Nile Corniche, and heavily populated areas.

Luxor governor Ashraf El Sharkawy signed on Saturday a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Arab Authority for Manufacturing to cooperate in the sectors of cleaning and beautification, and to supply heavy equipment and vehicles for traffic police.

Sharkawy also signed contracts with the authority to conduct maintenance works for different mechanical devices belonging to the municipal authorities at the governorate, according to Al Masry Al Youm.
