BEIRUT, Sept 15 2017: The General Directorate of Lebanon's State Security arrested on Friday a terrorist cell affiliated Al Nusra Front in Baalbek, the National News Agency reported.

The cell comprises three Syrian nationals, who took part in battles against the Lebanese army in Arsal in 2014.

Investigations with the apprehended cell revealed that the group had seized weapons, military vehicles, sums of money, and a hand watch belonging to one of the killed army servicemen.

The detainees and their possessions were handed over to the army's intelligence directorate.
