PM discusses moving ministries to New Administrative Capital

CAIRO – 14 September 2017: Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the plan of transferring ministries and various entities to the New Administrative Capital.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Planning and Administrative Reform Hala al-Saeed and representatives of some authorities.

During the meeting, the stages of transferring the ministries to the New Administrative Capital were reviewed, and the role of the Ministry of Planning and its responsibilities were discussed.

Ismail referred to a number of observations that should be reviewed, taking into consideration the target of developing government systems to achieve greater efficiency in accordance with modern standards and controls.

He also commanded to complete the transportation plan by coordinating between various ministries and entities to facilitate the movement between the New Administrative Capital and other governorates.
