EIJING– 10 September 2017: Egyptian ambassador to China Osama el Magdoub has stressed the importance of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi's visit China last week to take part in the strategic dialogue about developing emerging markets on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.

Sisi's visit to China was successful with fruitful outcomes, said the ambassador in in statements to MENA correspondent in Beijing, pointing out that Egypt, under its president, managed to restore its position as an international and regional power.

He said the that China was keen on inviting Egypt to attend various conferences and activities as happened during the G20 summit last year.

Ambassador Magdoub said friendship with China managed to eliminate obstacles in various domains, adding the president's visit to Beijing was a chance for Egypt to offer investment chances in mega projects and to invite investors, not only from China but also from the BRICS countries, to invest in Egypt.
