CAIRO - 5 September 2017: President Abdel Fatah al Sisi said on Tuesday that youth are considered to be the cornerstone of economic reform in Egypt and its main base.

He added in his speech during the second day of his participation at BRICS Business Forum held in China that Egypt’s policy is completely consistent with the BRICS's vision, especially in the necessity of financing the infrastructure.

"Despite all of the challenges that we faced, Egyptians however are determined to continue the path towards achieving full economic growth," Sisi said; adding that without establishing a fair and transparent global economic system, the developing countries would not reach the international developing rates.

During his second speech during the BRICS Business Forum, Sisi affirmed that Egypt is willing to start cooperation with the BRICS countries in Africa.

Sisi gave his first speech on Monday in a session on Egypt at BRICS Business Forum. He called on the BRICS bloc (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) to bring more investments in Egypt, as his country is taking measures to provide a “solid atmosphere” for foreign investments.

“We are working hard to make Egypt a supportive environment for your investments. We also look forward to benefiting from your expertise,” Sisi said.

The forum, which is held on the sideline of the 9th annual BRICS summit which kicked off Sunday in China's port city Xiamen, was attended by hundreds of businessmen.
