CAIRO – 27 August 2017: Kuwaiti authorities submitted two fugitives to Egypt on Sunday to serve a 10-year-prison sentence. Both are members of the outlawed Muslim
Brotherhood, and are convicted of murder by the court in case No. 4903/2014 in Sohag.

The convicts are named Ahmed Abdel Mawgoud Khodeiry Mohamed, and Ali Hamouda Hassan Abdel Aal. They are also charged with joining an illegal group, criminal threatening, and illegal acquisition of arms.

The Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Justice had earlier sent the culprits’ file through diplomatic channels to the authorities in different countries.

Convicts have been transferred to the security administration of Sohag in order to put into effect the court’s ruling.
