BURURI, Burundi - 18 August 2017: Egypt's Ambassador in Burundi Abeer Bassioni delivered the second batch of medical aid to the Burundian side presented by the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD).

During a ceremony in Bururi in southern Burundi, Deputy Mayor of the City Melchiade Ndayirukiye joined the event in which the EAPD provided around 50 beds and medical supplies to a hospital built by Egypt in the area in 2007.

The supplies were distributed along with food packages at the hospital as gifts from the people of Egypt.

Around two tons of food supplies and cultural and educational materials were delivered by the embassy.
