Egyptian National Railways chief resigns

CAIRO - 14 August 2017: Spokesman for the Transport Ministry Ahmed Ezz said Sunday Transport Minister Hisham Arafat accepted the resignation of Egyptian National Railways head Major General Medhat Shosha.

A few days ago, an Alexandria-bound train coming from Cairo crashed into another one while being on the way from Port Said to Alexandria, leaving 12 people dead and scores injured.
