CAIRO – 10 August 2017: a National project for developing Rashid, Egypt, will be implemented in three years, said the Beheira governor Nadia Abdo during a press conference on Thursday.

President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi has called for intensifying efforts to implement the project during Youth Conference held in Alexandria.

A complete plan was made to change the city completely, stated the project manager Moustafa Ismail.

It costs more than LE 1.5 billion ($84.36million),confirmed Abdo.

The project includes construction of the first fishing port in Rashid involving three factories of ice and fish canning and 22 buildings of marine industries.

In addition, historic streets and Abu Mandour historic region will be developed.
All the slumps will be replaced by 116 housing units, referred Abdo.
