Palestinian official injured as Israeli forces in Hebron

RAMALLAH - 4 August 2017: Head of Palestine's Wall and Colonization Resistance Commission Walid Assaf was wounded on Friday, when Israeli forces dispersed Palestinian protesters in Kharsa village in southern Al Khalil (Hebron).

Local sources said that Israeli forces suppressed a peaceful march using rubber-coated bullets and gas bombs, leaving several protesters injured, including Assaf.

The march was in protest of setting up an Israeli military tower in the Palestinian village.
