Abdel Ghaffar keen to train, develop police human resources

CAIRO - 1 August 2018: Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar said Tuesday developing police human resources is a priority for his ministry.

"Protecting the nation’s march towards building and development requires strong police," Abdel Ghaffar said during a meeting with leaders and directors of the Police Academy.

He asserted that the careful selection of police students was the first step to guarantee building a generation capable of maintaining the country’s security.

The minister directed to continue developing the educational, training, research and cultural programs and curricula studied by the students at the Police Academy.

"The ministry is keen on providing all forms of support for the academy for it to shoulder its responsibility of preparing highly-skilled policemen," he said.
