GENEVA – 28 July 2017: A spokesman for the World Food Program has warned of a coming famine in Yemen.

In statements quoted by the BBC News, he urged exerting more efforts and providing basic aid supplies to the Yemeni people.

On Friday, he called on the international community to contribute more to meet the needs of the people in Yemen.

Over 60% of the Yemeni people do not know from where they would get their next meal, he said.
