RAMALLAH, July 26 (MENA) - Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Sheikh Yousef Adeis called on Arab and Islamic religious foundations to take a firm stance towards the violations committed by the Israeli occupation forces against Al Aqsa Mosque.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Sheikh Yousef asserted that the Palestinian people would continue their struggle to defend the holy mosque and other Islamic and Christian sanctuaries, warning of any slackness in taking action towards the Israeli plans aiming at imposing a new status quo in the surroundings of Aqsa Mosque.

He made it clear that the Israeli occupations forces have made over than 110 offenses against Aqsa Mosque since the onset of the current month. He also welcomed the recent stances of Azhar and the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) regarding the recent Israeli escalations.
