CAIRO – 19 July 2017: A police officer and two soldiers were killed in an explosion in Arish, North Sinai Wednesday morning.

Security sources told Egypt Today that the blast was a result of an explosive device planted on Arish road.

On July 17, five police conscripts were killed and others were injured after an explosive device detonated in Arish City.

The injured were transferred to the hospital to receive necessary treatment. A bomb squad team was deployed to the explosion site in search for other planted bombs.
