CAIRO - 15 July 2017: Egypt’s Supreme State Security Prosecution on Saturday said investigation is underway to identify the motivation behind Friday's knife attack at a hotel in the Red Sea resort of Hurghada which left two German tourists killed.

In a statement, the prosecution urged media to avoid prejudicing the probe outcome, noting that the motivation behind the assault is still unclear.

The attacker was arrested and is being interrogated to know his motivations, the statement said.
