CAIRO- 14 July 2017: The Qatari owned Al Jazeera channel fabricated news on Thursday alleging that the German Embassy in Cairo issued a warning for its citizens of possible terrorist attacks in Egypt.

Al Jazeera and the Turkish news agency with affiliation to outlawed Muslim Brotherhood “Anadolu” said on Thursday that German authorities warned their citizens against traveling to Egypt in fear of possible terrorist attacks.

German embassy in Egypt refuted the news on Friday through its Twitter account, explaining that instructions for German citizens regarding visiting Egypt did not witness any changes.

The German embassy’s statement said that Security warnings are confined to certain areas in Egypt.



Al Jazeera’s news was followed by two terrorist attacks in Egypt, one ended with the death of two German female tourists in

Hurghada

. Also, Five policemen including an officer were killed after some militants attacked their police vehicle in

Badrasheen

.
