CAIRO – 12 July 2017: Army Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy has stressed that the ongoing scientific and technological development entails developing mechanisms of honing the skills of the army personnel so that they can have the needed skills and capabilities to defend the homeland.

The army personnel should also participate in the State's efforts exerted to achieve comprehensive development in all fields.

During his meeting with the teaching staff in the Armed Forces' Medicine Faculty, Hegazy pointed out to the keenness of the Armed Forces' general command to adopt a comprehensive strategy to develop the educational system inside the military colleges and institutes.

Hegazy listened to a detailed explanation from Head of the Armed Forces' Medicine Faculty Ayman el Saed Shafie on the mechanisms of steps implemented to develop the educational and scientific system.
