Abul Gheit congratulates Iraqis for liberating Mosul from Daesh

CAIRO - 10 July 2017: Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit congratulated Iraqis for liberating Mosul from Daesh.

He congratulated the Iraqi Armed Forces for this key achievement, the AL chief spokesman Mahmoud Afifi said on Monday.

Abul Gheit said people's support for the army had a great role in beating terrorists.

Abul Gheit underlined the importance of proceeding with military efforts to uproot Daesh.

Abul Gheit said he is looking forward to congratulate the Syrians for getting rid of Daesh
