Antiquities Minister promotes cadres for new posts

CAIRO – 10 July 2017: Minister of Antiquities Khaled Anani promoted several ministry cadres to assume leading posts.

The new appointments involved promoting director-general of Dahshur antiquities zone Adel Okasha to to the post of undersecretary for the Cairo and Giza antiquities' sector.

Archaeologist Abdel Fattah Eid was also promoted to the post of undersecretary for Lower Egypt antiquities' sector.

While Nagwa Metwally was appointed as the director general of the scientific publications' department, Mohamed Ismail would supervise scientific research.
