4,000 packages of medications unfit for human consumption seized in Cairo

CAIRO - 8 July 2017: Security forces in Cairo governorate seized 4,000 packages of medications unfit for human consumption in an unlicensed store.

Secret investigations revealed that two men stored large amounts of expired medications unauthorized from the Ministry of Health to sell them on markets with the aim of illegally gaining money.

After taking all necessary security measures, the store was raided and two of the involved officials were arrested.

The detainees were referred to prosecution to be interrogated.
