CAIRO – 6 July 2017: Brazilian football idol Ronaldinho toured Wednesday the blateau of the Pyramids of Giza as part of his second visit to Egypt during which he launched his humanitarian organization and promoted Egypt's Tour n’ Cure medical tourism campaign.

During the visit, the 37-year-old voiced admiration with the historic site. He said: "Coming back where it all started! Cairo is amazing!"

He was one of Brazil's prominent stars during the U-17 World Cup 20 years ago, leading his country to the title in Cairo.

Ronaldinho will also visit the North Coast, where he will attend a major celebration to launch the massive project in cooperation with drug company Prime Pharma.

The Ronaldinho Foundation aims to provide Hepatitis C treatment for underprivileged patients worldwide, in cooperation with major international donors and institutions.
